After I had my son, I became obsessed with online searches for the best baby products. I would spend hours trying to find safe alternatives to teethers, toys and anything he could put in his mouth.

My husband joked that I spent so many hours on the net that it made me an expert and that I should open my own store! I had a light bulb moment and thought: "Why not?" I spent several months toying with the idea, asking myself if I could really leave the world of business that I worked hard to get into to start my own online boutique. It was a big risk.

I made a list of pros and cons and thought of my son, born with Hemophilia, a rare bleeding disorder and I knew that this is what I had to do.

To start this business would mean that I could be a WAHM - (not to be confused with the 80s band WHAM) - a work at home mom! This business would enable me to give my son the attention he needed and at the same time help me find him and other children out there the best and safest products for them. It was a win win situation and bebeccino.com was born!

All the products are tried and tested by my son and as a parent to a 15 month old; I have a vested interest in the products.

I know how important it is to buy the best for your children and that is why my mission is to have an inventory of the most fantastic products from Europe, The US and Canada! As I searched for unique accessories and toys, I realized that most of them were invented by none other than MOMS! It makes me proud to be able to show off all their great inventions!
